Aim
The main aim of the placement cell is to act as contact place and facilitator to arrange campus visits and conduct of recruitment process of the prospective employers for the purposeful placement of graduating / Post graduating students of the college.
The cell also seeks opportunities for the betterment of institute and industry interaction through programs, guest lectures, and career guidance sessions.
Objectives
- Create awareness among students regarding available career options.
- Guide students in developing job-search strategies and career goals.
- Identify potential employers and help them achieve hiring goals.
- Organize career planning activities.
- Act as a bridge between students, alumni, and employers.
- Alumni networking and guidance.
- Organize training sessions on soft skill development.
- Arrange seminars, expert lectures, and career awareness programs.
Placement Process
The placement cell ensures regular follow-up, monitoring of student performance, collection of industry feedback, and final placement of students. It acts as a link between industry and the institute to improve teaching/learning processes.
Industrial Visits
Industry visits and events are planned to enhance real-world exposure. Students interact with professionals to gain valuable insights into work culture and industry expectations.
Personality Development
Placement cell helps students develop a confident, positive, and practical approach to face challenges in personal and professional life.
Counseling
Career counseling, CV writing, interview skills, and communication enhancement sessions are conducted. Personal guidance is also provided to help students overcome stress and challenges.
Placement Committee
A dedicated Placement Committee with faculty representatives from each department ensures smooth execution of placement activities.
